January 3, 2021

Second Sunday of Christmastide

Epiphany Sunday

Praise God from whom all blessings flow.
Praise God, all creatures here below.
Praise God above, ye heavenly host.
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

O Lord, our souls rise up to meet you

as the day rises to meet the sun.

The heavens shine with your glory,

showing us the way.

It has not felt like Christmas this year.
But on this Epiphany Sunday,

give us eyes to see,

like the Magi before us,

and the courage to follow.

Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayers.

We lift up...

Lord, hear our prayers.

Shine all around us,

by day and by night,

Jesus, the light of the world.

When we walk in darkness,

Lord, carry us through.

Light of the world,

shine in our darkness,

and illuminate the way of peace.

And let us pray, together, the prayer you taught us:

Our Father,

who art in heaven,

hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come,

thy will be done,

on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day

our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses,

as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation,

but deliver us from evil.

For thine is the kingdom,

and the power,

and the glory,

forever and ever.
